70s TV star Mackenzie Phillips shared her story about being raped by her father after a drug binge today on Oprah. It was the most powerful testimony I’ve ever scene on TV. John Phillips assaulted Mackenzie the night before her first wedding after she passed out from a drug binge and when she confronted him about it, he called it,’the night we made love’ . Mackenzie has chronicled that story and a plethora of other stories about her father in her new autobiography, ‘High On Arrival’.

Her brother Tamerlane Phillips comments on her Oprah appearance stating that he attended boarding school throughout his childhood and has no idea if her accusations are true. He also states that he is a recovering drug addict with a guru without whom he’d be getting gang raped in prison.
