Joe the plumber is the Ohio man who asked Barack Obama about whether he would raise taxes as Obama strolled through a Ohio neighborhood. It turns out the Joe is not an innocuous as he seems. He has ties to Sarah Palin and John McCain.

An insider reveals:

It is just a coincidence that: Joe used to live in Alaska and has relatives still up there who race in the Iditarod with Todd Palin. Joe used to live in Arizona in a Keating-owned complex. Joe is related to one of the conviceted felons from the Keating five debacle. Joe doesn’t actually make $250,000 or anywhere near it, which was the premise of his original question to Obama. Joe’s family are big contributors to the Republican party. Joe’s family owns hundreds of ACRES of land in Ohio.
