Joe Lieberman (remember that guy who helped Al Gore lose what should have been a winning presidential campaign?). He’s a modern day Benedict Arnold. The Democratic Senator earned the moniker by spending a great deal of time in Florida campaigning for Republican Presidential nominee John McCain. The Senator is whipping the usually staunchly Democratic Jewish Florida voting base into a frenzy by placing an emphasis on Obama’s race, ties to a church that gave the anti-semite Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan an award, plus, Obama’s own Muslim heritage (his father was a Muslim and in Judaism, your religion is passed on to you via your patriarchal connection; Obama embraced Christianity as a youth).
