A globe-trotting Atlanta lawyer with a dangerous strain of tuberculosis was allowed back into the U.S. by a border inspector who disregarded a computer warning to stop him and don protective gear, officials said Thursday. His name is Andrew Speaker and that is his photo above.

Apparently, Andrew found out while in Italy that his TB diagnosis was worse than initially thought and was advised by doctors to turn himself over to Italian medical authorities to keep the illness from spreading. In his own words, Andrew said he felt ‘fine’ and kept on trucking all over Europe with his new wife leaving his TB cooties everywhere. What a great show of ethics for a lawyer!!
